Assistant Professor John Hughes has been awarded a Simons Foundation Collaboration Grant for Mathematicians effective September 1, 2012 through August 31, 2017. The amount of the award is $35,000.
The title of the grant is New Methods for Spatial Statistics and Processive Motor Proteins. Hughes’ other research interests include statistical computing, Bayesian methods, and longitudinal data.
