From the Dean: Welcome to The SPHere

Many of you already recognize “The Weekly SPHere” as the name of our enewsletter for School of Public Health students. Now we’re taking that name to a new place online.

Welcome to The SPHere blog, our new home for news and events of interest to all School of Public Health students, faculty and staff, and the wider SPH community.

This blog is one more way for us to highlight all the exciting news and events that are happening throughout our school, while creating a more unified and centrally located news presence for our web audiences.

Our enewsletters are also getting a redesign to match the look and name of the blog. We will distribute separate weekly emails, one for students and one for faculty/staff, with a roundup of relevant blog posts from The SPHere. We will also share these posts via web feeds, social media and other channels.

New story submission process

Going forward, SPH faculty, staff and division web coordinators should submit their news items and story ideas for the blog and enewsletters via the easy-to-use SPH News & Events submission form.
