This two-year program provides a foundation in mathematical statistics and exposure to many areas of applied statistics including clinical trials, survival analysis, correlated data, genetics, spatial analysis, and machine learning.

This program requires that students meet the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH) Core Competencies in five core public health areas, including administration, behavioral science, biostatistics, environmental health, and epidemiology, plus an additional requirement in ethics.
