Requirements & Benefits
- Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents.
- Applicants must be undergraduates at an accredited school or university with an interest in scientific research.
- Applicants must have completed at least one semester of calculus (regardless of academic major).
There are no fees or tuition costs associated with participation in the program. Travel costs to and from Minnesota (up to $800), housing, and meals will be covered. In addition, you’ll receive four semester credits from the University of Minnesota for your participation in the course.
Each day you will learn from core faculty who will provide you with a foundation in biostatistical methods and computing. Additionally, you will have multiple opportunities to interact with a variety of prominent scientists working on heart and lung research studies.
