Centers for Public Health Education and Outreach
Continuing education is developed by the School of Public Health, its faculty, and is supported by a number of grants housed in the Centers for Public Health Education and Outreach, including:
- Midwest Center for Occupational Health and Safety
- Midwest Center for Life-Long Learning
- University of Minnesota Center for Public Health Preparedness
- Hazardous Materials and Hazwoper Training
U-SEEE Programs
U-SEEE -- or University of Minnesota: Simulations, Exercises, and Effective Education-- is funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and is housed under the Centers for Public Health Education and Outreach. U-SEEE has two programs that complement each other.
- U-SEEE Preparedness and Emergency Response Research Center (PERRC), and
- U-SEEE Preparedness and Emergency Response Learning Center (PERL)
U-SEEE PERRC focuses on educational research, while U-SEEE PERL focuses on delivery of training and education.
