About CPHEO

The Centers for Public Health Education and Outreach support initiatives that advance the University’s mission of research, education, and outreach.  The Centers accomplish this by coordinating and disseminating research; providing high quality online and face-to-face courses for students, working professionals, and the community at large; and working with both internal and external partners to bridge the academic and public health practice communities.

CPHEO Celebrates 10th Anniversary

  • Funding for major grants is nearly $3.2 million.
  • In the past five years, online and face-to-face courses have reached participants in 101 countries.
  • In the last decade, some 35,000 people have participated in face-to-face courses.
  • In the past five years nearly 24,000 users created accounts to participate in online learning opportunities offered through CPHEO.
  • In the past five years, nearly 24,000 users have created accounts to participate in online learning opportunities.
