National Maternal Nutrition Intensive Course – cancelled

We regret to inform you that the 2013 National Maternal Nutrition Intensive Course (MNIC) has been cancelled because the USDA funding that partially supported this course was cut and the additional MCHB funding will not be known until July 1, 2013.

Instead, the course will be reduced to a one-day program. The topic will be “Bridges out of Poverty,” which was originally scheduled as the first day of the MNIC conference. This program takes place July 24, 2013 as previously scheduled. It will also be taped and available to our distance learners on a subscription basis.

If you have already registered for MNIC, you will receive an email from the conference staff about refunds and/or the transfer of your registration to the Bridges out of Poverty program. We apologize for any inconvenience the cancellation of this education program has caused.

Please contact us if you have any questions: Meghan Taylor (tayl0427@umn.edu, 612-626-8434) or Chris Carlstrom (carls020@umn.edu, 612-624-3029).
