Preparedness Research, Training & Outreach

U-SEEE combines research and education in public health to help make responders more effective in the field.

PERRC | Research Center

Conduct applied research in public health preparedness. Identify best practices for education using face-to-face and computer-based exercises and simulations.

PERL | Learning Center

Develop, deliver and evaluate core-competency-based training for public health workers and response partners. Provide practical, needs-based training for the state, local, and tribal public health preparedness workforce in Minnesota, North Dakota, and Wisconsin.

One Health Talk

Work inclusively across disciplines, professions and sectors from the local to the global level, to improve the health of humans, animals and the environment. One Health Talk is an opportunity for the collaborative exchange of ideas and information related to One Health topics.

Public Health Institute

Offering week-long short courses across nine public health interest areas. Courses are designed for graduate students in traditional and non-traditional programs and professionals in health related fields. Classes are intensive, interactive and applications oriented.
