"Genomics: The Connection to Public Health Practice" is designed to assist practitioners in integrating knowledge and skills into professional practice.
This series is available through the University of Minnesota School of Public Health Centers for Public Health Education and Outreach and the Midwest Center for Life-Long-Learning in Public Health (MCLPH). MCLPH is a Public Health Training Center supported in part by a grant from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). The development of these modules was also supported in part by the Minnesota Department of Health Genomics Project.
This course presents lectures from four national experts in the field of genomics: Tim Baker, Toby Citrin, Karen Edwards, and William Toscano, Jr. as well as a panel discussion. This course was based on the event Genomics: The Connection to Public Health Practice held on November 4, 2004, in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Certificates: Permanent continuing education records are provided by the Centers for Public Health Education and Outreach, University of Minnesota School of Public Health.
