SPH Student Senate
Get Involved!
Student Senate is an excellent way to get involved in the School of Public Health, network with various departments, work with faculty, demonstrate leadership skills, and develop creative solutions to new challenges.
Check out the Senate positions and other opportunities for involvement below, and join us in our mission to serve the needs of SPH students:
Senate Positions
- Officers - President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary.
- Social Coordinator - Plans various social events throughout the year, including Pamoja- the annual event brining together students, faculty, and staff.
- Wellness Coordinator - Coordinates and advertises wellness activities and education for students in SPH.
- Committee Representatives - Serve on various committees within the SPH, Academic Health Center, and University level.
- Volunteer Coordinator - Organizes events around the Twin Cities area for students to help community members.
- Policy Representative - Researches current policies at the local, state, and federal level and disseminates policy updates for SPH students.
