Dr. Oberg earned an M.P.H. in maternal and child health from the University of Minnesota and an M.D. from the University of Minnesota Medical School. His research interests include health disparities, childhood poverty, and health care access and finance. Dr. Oberg teaches Advocacy and Children's Rights; Children's Health: Issues, Policies, and Programs; Fundamentals of Social and Behavioral Sciences; and Children and Youth in Society.
