Centers for Public Health Education and Outreach

The School of Public Health reaches beyond the borders of the University through the Centers for Public Health Education and Outreach (CPHEO).

CPHEO was established to expand access to public health education and training, and to provide continuing education to practicing public health professionals throughout their careers. The centers serve as an intersection between our school and the community. They work with the community and our faculty to help develop and strengthen the public health workforce and prepare for future public health challenges.

There are several centers under CPHEO's umbrella, and they all work together to offer courses, symposia, and special events. The centers include:

• Center for Public Health Preparedness
• Midwest Center for Lifelong Learning in Public Health
• Midwest Consortium for Hazardous Waste Worker Training
• Great Lakes OSHA Training Center
• Midwest Center for Occupational Health and Safety
