Ph.D. in Health Services Research, Policy and Administration
This is the ideal field for students interested in affecting health policy or having an impact on health care systems.
The Ph.D. in Health Services Research, Policy and Administration trains students for positions as researchers and teachers in top research universities, in government agencies at the state and federal level, and in the research arms of private health insurance, provider, or consulting organizations. The program provides a multidisciplinary examination of the social, political, and economic forces that affect the organization, financing and delivery of health care services.
