Online Curriculum

Maternal and Child Health

The online/distance education M.P.H. program is designed for working professionals and advanced students whose goal is to advance to leadership roles in the field of maternal and child health or related fields. Professionals with work experience in MCH can earn an M.P.H. by taking a combination of online courses and short intensive courses offered during a three-week Public Health Institute held each spring at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities campus.

Online coursework is intended to develop skills used in maternal and child public health practice settings. The intensive, on-campus courses focus on cutting-edge issues in the field.

The program is designed for individuals who already have an advanced degree (e.g., M.D., M.S.W., M.S.N., M.S., Ph.D.) OR 3 or more years of work experience in the field of maternal and child health or a related field.
