Requirements for Admission to Full-Time MHA Program

Applicants should have a strong commitment to managing people and resources to create and sustain outstanding healthcare services and organizations. Strong quantitative and communication skills are essential; prior experience in healthcare is not required in the full-time program.

  • bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • minimum GPA of 3.0
  • GRE minimum of 1000, GMAT minimum of 500; MCAT accepted from U.S. trained physicians
  • letter of intent
  • resume
  • transcripts
  • three letters of recommendation
  • on-site panel interview (telephone interview for international applications)

International Applicants

In addition to the above requirements, international applicants must also submit

  • 100 on the Internet-based (iBT) TOEFL test, or
  • 600 on the paper TOEFL test, or
  • 7.0 (total band score) on the IELTS test

Preparation

To prepare for the Program's rigorous curriculum, the faculty highly recommends the following coursework prior to matriculation:

  • Statistics
  • Accounting
  • Microeconomics

Application Deadlines

The application deadline for the Full-Time MHA Program is March 15.
