Admissions
Admission to the MHA program is highly selective. While academic ability is a principal criterion, we also give major consideration to a person's experience and aptitude, especially when a student has been away from the academic environment for several years.
Admission is based on an applicant's potential management capability as demonstrated through prior academic performance, test scores, and references; and an applicant's interest, leadership potential and commitment to healthcare management as demonstrated through previous work experience and an interview.
Requirements for Admission
- have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university;
- have a minimum GPA of 3.0 (may consider Working Professionals with a lower GPA depending on years of work experience)
- take the GRE, GMAT, MCAT or LSAT; GRE minimum of 1000, GMAT minimum of 500;
- write a letter of intent;
- include a resume;
- submit transcripts;
- provide three letters of recommendation;
- participate in an on-site interview.
