How to Apply

Application to the School of Public Health is through SOPHAS—the Schools of Public Health Application Service.

Students who apply to the MHA Program are required to complete an interview with members of the MHA Admissions Committee. The following table shows when interviews will be held and the dates on which the Admissions Committee makes its decisions. Students can expect to hear from the program shortly after the Admissions Committee meets.

MHA interviews are from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The MHA Admissions Committee meets from 8:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

The MHA Admissions Committee is very interested in reaching a timely decision on your admission and continuously reviews application files. When the decision is positive, you are recommended for admission to the Dean for final approval. When the Dean has given his approval you will receive a letter from him congratulating you on being admitted to the MHA Major. You will also receive a letter of congratulation from the MHA Chair. When the admissions decision is negative, you will receive a letter from the Associate Program Director informing you of this decision.
