ISP/MHA Option

The ISP Executive Healthcare Study Program, a former avenue to the MHA degree, is being replaced by a new Executive MHA program that is anticipated to begin enrollment in May 2009.

Vernon Weckwerth teachingThe previous ISP program is no longer accepting new applicants to Courses 1 and 2. Students currently enrolled in Course 2 or Course 3, and ISP students who have previously been enrolled and meet MHA requirements, will be able to complete the ISP/MHA option through the summer of 2010. Information for current ISP students is available at the above website address.

Three year program combines on-campus and quality distance learning

Must be employed as a healthcare manager

The ISP Executive Studies Program is a professional development program for healthcare managers who are currently employed in healthcare management. Multi-method learning combines a two-week residential session with monthly student preceptor meetings in the student's geographic area, written assignments and regional seminars.

Students who complete three years of ISP earn a Credential of Advanced Studies. Students who meet all entrance requirements for the master's option may use their ISP credits towards an MHA degree, provided they have not applied those credits to another degree. The Masters option requires the completion of 10 additional semester credits that may be taken in the summer following the completion of the third year.
