ISP/MHA Option Coursework
Students who receive the ISP Regents Certificate in Healthcare Administration earn 36 semester credits that they may use to meet the requirements of the Master in Healthcare Administration degree, provided they have not applied those credits to another degree and have met all entrance requirements for the Master's option.
Students also complete a research project while in ISP that is eligible for consideration by the MHA faculty as a Master's thesis.
After they have received the 3-year Regents Certificate, ISP students who have been accepted into the MHA Option are required to take three additional courses on campus to fulfill the University's residency requirement. These three courses, the research and statistics credits, and credits from ISP combine to fulfill the 46 semester credit requirement for graduation.
The three on-campus courses are offered during three weeks each summer.
