Admissions

Admission preferences and prerequisites for the Veterinary Public Health Program Leading to dual Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and Master of Public Health (D.V.M./M.P.H.) degrees :

  • Applicants must be currently admitted into an accredited college of veterinary medicine.
  • Applicants are encouraged to begin program summer prior to entering veterinary school.
  • Students must have a baccalaureate degree before beginning M.P.H. coursework.
  • Preferred performance levels:
    GPA of 3.00
    GRE minimum composite score of 1000 and a 3.5 on the AWA
    TOEFL score of 100 (internet-based), 250 (computer-based) or 600 (paper) is preferred (international applicants only)

NOTE: Students applying before beginning a D.V.M. program, please submit a copy of your college of veterinary medicine acceptance letter directly to:
