We provide trainings for safety professionals, industrial hygienists, emergency management professionals, police officers, firefighters, paramedics, and other health and safety professionals.

The Division of Environmental Health Sciences offers the following degrees:

  • Master of Public Health (MPH) in Environmental Health Sciences
  • Master of Science (MS) in Environmental Health Sciences
  • Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Environmental Health Sciences

The MPH degree is a minimum of 42 credits and the MS program requires a minimum of 30 credits and normally take two years to complete. The PhD program is oriented for those who want a career in research and academics and includes a 24 credit dissertation requirement.

Master of Public Health (MPH)

MPH degrees are traditionally suited for those who want to practice in a public health setting.

MS degrees are traditionally geared for those who want a career in research and academics.

The PhD brings students to a high level of academic competence through a combination of advanced coursework and research, and prepares students to assume leadership roles in the field.
