About the Speakers’ Series

The National Children’s Study Speakers’ Series provides 60-90 minute interactive talks by University and community experts in maternal, infant, child, youth, and family health.  The series is intended to address topics of concern to public health, social service, and health care professionals; students; researchers; and community members and to provide a public forum for discussion.

The Series is sponsored by the National Children’s Study/Ramsey County Locationand the Center for Leadership Education in Maternal and Child Public Healthboth of which are located at the University of Minnesota’s School of Public Health.

The talks are held every 2-3 months at the Wilder Center at 451 Lexington Parkway N in St. Paul.  The Wilder Center is located on several bus lines and has free parking.

Following each featured Speakers’ Series presentation, there will be a brief presentation and Q & A session about the National Children’s Study and plans for the Ramsey County Location. The talks are free and everyone is welcome to attend.
