Dr. Ness has often been called one of America’s foremost experts in innovative thinking and is an international expert in this area. In her most recent book, Innovation Generation, she provides the tools needed to think “outside the box.” This book and her course provide proven techniques to expand the ability to generate original ideas, which will help scientists develop new strategies to prevent many common chronic diseases.
Dr. Ness received her MD from Cornell University and her MPH from Columbia University. She currently holds the James W. Rockwell Professorship in Public Health at The University of Texas School of Public Health and is the Vice-President for Innovation at The University of Texas Health Science Center.
