National Public Health Week Film Festival April 2-6 2012

Our National Public Health Film Festival is now in its 8th year. This year we are featuring films around the following issues: the farm to school food movement, how health is a human right, how the GLBTQ community rose above the devastating effects of the 1980s AIDS epidemic, the terminally ill’s controversial end-of-life decisions, and sexual health.

When: April 2-6, 2012; Doors open at 5 p.m. 
Program begins at 5:30 p.m. with films to follow.

Where: U of MN East Bank campus; Locations vary. Click on Film Schedule for nightly locations.

Event is free and open to the public. Free light refreshments provided to all film-goers starting at 5 p.m. Experts will follow each night’s film with short remarks and Q&A.
