Our hiring time frames and frequencies are based on health research project needs and vary through out the year. HSRC always works through human resources at the university and positions are posted. For most positions HSRC primarily looks for two skill sets, telephone interviewing and data entry. HSRC also looks for clerical support skills as a general subset of the skills for the office. HSRC may periodically have openings for technical information technology positions. The specific criteria for each position are included in the posting for open positions whether those positions be permanent, temporary or part-time. Telephone interviewers are provided by HSRC with intensive training for the interviewing position that also requires certification prior to becoming a HSRC interviewer. All positions require that individuals hired complete HIPAA and Human Subjects in Research training. Individuals must follow protocols in handling all participant information and must treat all information as private at all times.
