Appendix 2.6.c. Community Health Education Program Competency Statement

The Community Health Education (CHE) major prepares students to be public health leaders who can design, implement, advocate for and evaluate efforts to promote healthy behaviors and social conditions. CHE competencies were developed by CHE faculty members who reviewed existing national recommendations. The CHE competencies are consistent with the current ASPH recommended competencies for MPH programs in the Social and Behavioral Sciences (http://www.asph.org).
