Why Join CORC

Responsibilities of Membership

Criteria for Membership

Three different levels of membership in CORC are available:

1.  Member:  A member holds a faculty rank (tenure or non-tenure track) in the University of Minnesota at the level of Assistant Professor or above who has published one or more articles in outcomes research

2.  Associate Member:  An associate member is a clinician on the faculty of the University of Minnesota who participates in outcomes research. This person could, for example, be a clinician who is part of a project network to collect outcomes data

3.  Affiliate Member:  An affiliate member is a clinician or researcher from a program outside the university who wishes to work with CORC or who wants to use CORC as a regular sounding board for ideas and projects in progress

Application Procedure
Individuals can complete the application form at any time. This form includes a brief statement of the individual’s outcomes research goals and research history. Applications are reviewed regularly by the Center directors to assure that the criteria are met.

Continued Membership
All members are reviewed by the CORC directors every 3-5 years. Generally membership is continued unless there has been a major change in the member’s career path or the individual has left the University. If the directors believe that the member’s status has changed the member will be contacted to discuss the appropriateness of continued membership at that level.
