Financial AidIf you have already submitted your FAFSA, we expect your financial aid award notice (FAAN) to be available in mid-July. The Office of Student Finance will send an e-mail to your University e-mail account notifying you to go online to "View my financial aid" where you will see the option "Respond to my Financial Aid Award Notice (FAAN)" when it is time to accept, reduce, or decline your financial aid award offers. If you do not receive an email by July 31 and you have responded to all requests for more information, please contact One Stop Student Services at 612-624-1111 or e-mail helpingu@umn.edu. This financial aid timeline is based on final approval by the Board of Regents of the University budget. We understand that you may need to plan your financial situation before you receive the package.
