Student Senate

Welcome to the website for the School of Public Health Student Senate at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. Here, you will find information on events, meetings, and student information. Join us and find out how you can help bring public health students, faculty, and professionals together!

The Student Senate is comprised of graduate students of the University of Minnesota School of Public Health. The Senate serves two main functions:

  • Student Senate is an official organization of the University of Minnesota School of Public Health, representing the SPH graduate students in several university committees.
(For reference of the Student Senate official function, please refer to the School of Public Health Constitution | Article V. Section 7)
  • Student Senate also acts as the public health student association of the University of Minnesota, organizing activities and events among the graduate students in the school. We participate in volunteer activities around the Twin Cities, organize social events, and address student needs and concerns to the school and the divisions.

We welcome input from all students from the school and invite you to join the Senate and help us serve the needs of the SPH students.
