Concentrations

The MS-HSRP&A can be completed under the Graduate School's Plan A or Plan B options. Plan A students write a thesis based on empirical research. Plan B students complete a project and participate in an internship or field experience. Both options are rigorous two-year programs.

Internship

The MS-HSRP&A research and policy concentration (Plan B) offers a multidisciplinary curriculum that integrates real hands-on experience by placement in an internship. The internship is designed to build skills that are directly related to health services research careers, thus making graduates from the MS-HSRP&A even more marketable to potential employers. Most internships include a salary and partial tuition subsidy.
