How to Transfer Master's Project Credits

Option 1: LCS 691 Master’s Project

Before completing the Master’s Project

1.   When you sign up for MSU clerkships, complete the MSU Course Agreement Form for LCS 691 and give this to Dr. Bartlett.

2.  Complete the U of MN MPH Project Proposal Form.

• Ask your project advisor and MSU advisor (if different from the project advisor) to review, share comments/suggestions and sign it.
• Send a copy to Kate Hanson via email or US mail.
• The DVM/MPH program director will review, share comments/suggestions and sign it.
• The proposal form will be placed in your file

2.   Complete the U of MN petition form and attach the completed MSU Course Agreement form for LCS 691 and any written course assignments.

3.  Make a copy of the petition form and submit the original to Kate Hanson for processing.  The original signed petition form and completed MSU Course Agreement form will be attached to your MPH study plan when you prepare to graduate from the University of Minnesota, School of Public Health.

Option 2: PubH 7294 Master’s Project

1. Complete the U of MN MPH Project Proposal Form.

• Ask your project advisor and MSU advisor (if different from the project advisor) to review, share comments/suggestions and sign it.
• Send a copy to Kate Hanson via email or US mail.
• The DVM/MPH program director will review, share comments/suggestions and sign it.
• The proposal form will be placed in your file
