Our Degree Programs
We offer 16 master’s programs and four doctoral programs, which culminate in one of the following degrees: Master of Public Health (MPH), Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA), Master of Science (MS), or Doctoral (PhD).
Master of Public Health (MPH)
MPH degrees are traditionally suited for those who want to practice in a public health setting. The School of Public Health offers MPH degrees that meet the Association of Schools of Public Health (ASPH) Core Competencies in the following areas:
- Biostatistics
- Community Health Promotion
- Environmental Health
- Epidemiology
- Executive Program in Public Health Practice
- Maternal and Child Health (on-campus and online)
- Public Health Administration and Policy
- Public Health Dentistry

Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA)
The MHA degree is a practice-based, professional degree that meets the competencies identified by both the accrediting agency for healthcare administration programs (ACEHSA) and those of the Association of Schools of Public Health.
Master of Science (MS)
MS degrees are traditionally geared for those who want a career in research and academics. The School of Public Health offers MS degrees in the following areas:
- Biostatistics
- Clinical Research
- Environmental Health
- Health Services Research, Policy and Administration
