Our program meets need

Health care organizations are looking for professionals with a public health background that can translate public health concepts and principles into the health care arena.

Our graduates also fill the increasing need for administrators and other leadership positions in state, city, county, and other community public health agencies.

Welcome to PHAP

Our Public Health Administration and Policy (PHAP) program offers a core curriculum centering on managing organizations to improve the health of certain populations. Throughout the program there is a strong emphasis on developing effective communication skills and the ability to work well with various cultures and communities.

To receive this degree, you will need to complete the curriculum, a field experience, and a master’s project. Our graduates pursue public health careers in a variety of settings including non-profit organizations, state and local public health agencies, and healthcare companies.
