Remembering James Rothenberger

Jim Rothenberger

All who knew Jim are invited to offer their remembrances in any of the following formats.

  • Post a written remembrance
  • E-mail photos as an attachment to rothe001@umn.edu. Include a description of how the photo is related to Jim. For example, it could be a photo of him, a photo of you and Jim, a photo of you doing something inspired by Jim, or something that reminds you of Jim.
  • Leave a voice message at 612-625-5692

Please state your name and current residence and/or occupation, if it is relevant and if you are comfortable doing so. Note that any testimonials, pictures, etc. submitted will be considered public. All of these items will be picked up, edited as necessary, and incorporated into a video presented at his public memorial service in February 2009 (which may be posted on the Web). A selection of them may also become part of the Death course Jim taught for many years. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Steve Thompson for additional information: thomp030@umn.edu or 612-625-7124.

Also, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Rothenbergeršs name to the School of Public Health to promote public health education. Please specify: SPH Endowed Scholarship, MMF fund #7030.
