Preparing for a Predictable Crisis
Public health workers in Fargo-Moorhead face a major flood nearly every spring, which has given them a deep appreciation for the importance of education and training. Whatever the type of disaster, U-SEEE combines research and education to help make responders more effective in the field.
PERRC | Research Center

- Conduct applied research in public health preparedness.
- Identify best practices for education using face-to-face and computer-based exercises and simulations.
PERL | Learning Center

and evaluate core-competency-based training for public health workers and response partners. - Provide practical, needs-based training for the state, local, and tribal public health preparedness workforce in Minnesota, North Dakota, and Wisconsin.
