Degrees & Programs

At the University of Minnesota School of Public Health, we offer a comprehensive selection of degree programs as well as various dual degrees and graduate minors. Our curriculum addresses crucial public health issues such as racism, climate change, and emerging infectious diseases, which equips students to confront the evolving challenges of our world. Bachelor of Arts

Executive (Working Professionals) Degrees

For mid-career students who have at least 2 to 3 years work experience in a public health or health care setting, our executive programs blend online coursework with intensive in-person courses, allowing for flexibility in your continued learning.

Doctoral (PhD)

4+1 Degrees

  • Environmental Health Sciences MPH
    The Integrated 4+1 MPH allows undergraduate students from the College of Biological Sciences at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities and the Bachelor of Science (BS) in Health Sciences at the University of Minnesota Rochester to graduate with both a BS and an MPH degree in five years.

Dual-Degrees

Dual degree programs provide students with comprehensive skills and training that complement any public health education and practice. The MPH degree may be completed online and students from other institutions may apply to our MPH degree program. The School of Public Health offers dual degrees with the following UMN programs:
