Grant Idea Hatching Workshops are dynamic, brainstorming sessions for research ideas in the very early stages of development/conception. Their goal is to promote dialogue and information sharing among participants who are in the beginning phase of pursuing research funding. Grant Idea Hatching groups are intended for faculty and post-doctoral fellows who have research questions they want to develop toward a proposal or other initiatives.
Members of the group can provide feedback on a variety of topics such as substantive expertise, research methods, funding options or potential collaborators, among others. The group meets every other month.
