In light of recent constraints in federal research funding and the growing need to diversify funding sources, this one-hour presentation will introduce faculty to opportunities with corporate and private foundations. The session will feature members of the University of Minnesota Foundation’s Corporate and Foundation Engagement team, Pam Johnson and Logan Nelson, who will share insights on how faculty can effectively engage with these partners. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the role corporate and foundation support can play in advancing their research and learn practical strategies for pursuing funding in this space.
