Using hoodies and education to humanize and empower, Dr. Sole is the co-creator of Humanize My Hoodie, a social justice movement challenging racial injustice and negative stereotypes associated with BIPOC communities. This presentation will cover racial systemic inequality, micro-and macro aggressions, and disrupting systems for racial justice.
Professor Jason Marque Sole (he, they) is a formerly incarcerated activist and educator. He has been in the Criminal Justice field for over 12 years and is currently an adjunct professor at Hamline University Criminal Justice and Forensic Science Department. His roles also include being a national restorative justice trainer since 2008, leading circles in jails, prisons, and the community.
