Redesign for Whole Families
Research, Policy and Practice Summit
August 18 & 19, 2020
Engage in rich dialogue around research, policy, and practice for a stronger, integrated, and more equitable human services sector.
The Redesign for Whole Families Summit returns in 2020! The summit will highlight relevant research for policymakers and program leaders committed to integrating publicly funded human services to better serve families.
Rarely there are opportunities for national researchers and program managers to engage in mutual dialogue about the insights uncovered from research and practice. We will consider the question: What needs to be taken into account to design more effective programs and systems to support families?
The Redesign for Whole Families Summit was born from our desire to bring the best of research and practice together to share and co-create a human services sector that serves and provides what’s needed for our families and communities. Too often we hear stories of disparities and struggles of families, the burnout of front line workers, and the silos that are built around policies, programs, and organizations.
We asked ourselves – what if we turn this narrative around and provide a rich ground for the change-makers, the idealists, the thinkers, and the doers, to all come together and build on each others’ knowledge and lived experience? What might happen if we bring the brightest minds and boldest hearts together?
