Location: McNamara Alumni Center

8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. | Healthy Futures Summit (Summit registration is closed. View the livestream.)
5:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. | 75th Anniversary Gala

The future holds a tantalizing mix of challenges and possibilities, like the promise of a world where everyone has the chance for a healthy life. But that public health vision faces myriad global threats, including rapid population growth, the unprecedented aging of societies, a warming climate, and a widening economic gap.

To address the needs of a changing world the 2019 Healthy Futures Summit convenes national and local experts and decision makers who will tackle persistent and emerging threats to public health such as food policy, community resilience, structural racism, climate change, and infectious diseases. You’ll be inspired to imagine new possibilities for a healthier future and gain insights that benefit your work today. (CEU credits will be offered for the Summit.)

Who will attend the summit? 300+ public health and health care professionals, scholars, and leaders who are committed to advancing learning, action, and innovation around the future of public health.

The 75th Anniversary Gala follows the day-long summit and will celebrate the School of Public Health’s rich history and how we’ve transformed health for 75 years. This energy-filled event will feature:

  • SPH experts who will showcase their work from the lens of past, present, and future
  • Networking with friends and colleagues — old and new
  • Food tasting featuring local chefs
  • Prominent health visionary Andy Slavitt

Who will attend the gala? We welcome all faculty, staff, students, community partners, and friends.

Engage, network, and create new connections.
