SPH in Color: American Indian, BIPOC, and International Community Reception At Diane’s Place

Thursday, April 23 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm CDT

Location: Diane’s Place

SPH in Color is an annual tradition that offers a meaningful opportunity for students, staff, faculty and alumni to come together, share a meal, learn from one another, and build connections across our community.

This year’s reception highlights food as a meaningful way to honor lived expereiences, share culture and build community—reflecting the public health values that connect us.

This reception will take place at Diane’s Place in northeast Minneapolis, named Food & Wine’s 2025 Restaurant of the Year and featured on The New York Times’ list of 50 Best Places to Eat in America.

Space is limited. Please RSVP if you are able to join.

While this event is open to all, regardless of race, ethnicity, or national origin, it will center the experiences of Black, Indigenous, people of color, American Indian, international, and first-generation students, faculty, staff, and alumni.

Audience for this event: SPH students, faculty and staff
