Please join us as we learn how to integrate data sharing with your research
Sharing the underlying data associated with publications and projects is shifting from the exception to the rule. This presentation will address steps to take at three research stages as you plan for data sharing: grant application, IRB submission, and preparation of materials for sharing. Ethical considerations will be highlighted throughout. By the end of the presentation you will be able to:
- Write a thorough data management plan that incorporates a plan for sharing data.
- Prepare a protocol and consent form to submit with IRB materials that is transparent about data sharing.
- Identify necessary documentation and strategies for sharing data in a public repository, such as DRUM.
- Select an appropriate repository to share your data.
