Abby Lohr works toward healthy equity by using a community-based participatory approach in collaboration with immigrants and refugees in southeastern Minnesota as part of Rochester Healthy Community Partnership. Her research seeks to design and implement culturally tailored interventions to prevent and manage chronic diseases and promote cancer screening.

Graciela has participated in several projects with Rochester Healthy Community Partnership. She serves as a cultural liaison between the Latino community and RHCP. She has significant experience working with the Latino community in Rochester, both as a Certified Medical Interpreter and as a volunteer for several local organizations. She brings her expertise in adapting research instruments for cultural and linguistic acceptability, as well as designing culturally appropriate study procedures.
