Ollie Schiefelbein (she/they) is a second-year Master’s of Public Health Student in the Public Health Administration and Policy program at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. Her primary academic pursuit is understanding how epidemiological data can be effectively used to inform health policy and create systemic change. At the CRC, Ollie supports projects that assess the impact of cannabis policy on marginalized groups, and promotes the CRC’s mission to be a resource and collaborator for communities in Minnesota and beyond. She is passionate about ensuring that research and policymaking involves and uplifts all communities it impacts, particularly those who have historically been left out of decision making. Ollie is expected to complete her MPH in May 2026. She holds a BA in political science from the University of Madison-Wisconsin, and served in the US Peace Corps as an education and community health volunteer in Malawi, Africa.

Rhonda Jones-Webb, DrPH is the Associate Director of Equity and Engagement for the Cannabis Research Center and a professor in the Division of Epidemiology and Community Health. Rhonda’s research focuses on substance use epidemiology and policy, with a special focus on race, social class, and neighborhood influences. She has served as a principle investigator or co-investigator on nearly 40 externally funded research projects and conducted studies on a variety of topics,e.g, alcohol use in African American populations, implementation of policies related to high-alcohol-content beverages, alcohol outlet density, public policy and economic development, and cannabis use). Her current research interests focus on how substance use policies can be more equitably implemented and how communities can ensure all citizens benefit from health policies. Rhonda is also co-director of SPH’s Health Equity Work Group and a member of the Alcohol Epidemiology Program, and CTSI/ Community Engagement to Advance Research and Community Management Council.

Elizabeth Fowlds is the Criminal Expungement Resource Attorney and Program Manager at Volunteer Lawyers Network, a position she has held since July 2023. Prior to joining VLN, Elizabeth practiced as a public defender in Sonoma County, California; Mendocino County, California; and Hennepin County Minnesota.
