Silent and Deadly, Yet Preventable! Stroke Prevention, Disparities, & Links to COVID-19
This 10KFS Facebook Live event will feature Dr Haitham Hussein, Associate Professor in Neurology at the University of Minnesota Medical School. Dr Hussein’s specialty is stroke. This interactive talk will focus on prevention and the relationship between COVID-19 and stroke, from a cultural, community, and gender disparities lens. A researcher, educator, hospital practitioner and leader, Dr. Hussein will also discuss his educational work with middle school students and his work with community and national organizations.
