DESCRIPTION:The goal of the Aging Work Group (AWG) is to create a collaborative\, supportive community of scholars to facilitate the development of innovative and interdisciplinary aging science. \nThe AWG meets the first Monday of every month. Meetings offer a forum to: \n\n Share new ideas and questions related to scholarship;\nShare draft proposals\, manuscripts or other scholarly products for supportive peer review;\nIdentify new collaborative opportunities; and\nDevelop strategies to advance aging science at the University of Minnesota in cooperation with partner institutions and organizations.\n\nThe Robert L. Kane Endowed Chair in Long-Term Care and Aging provides AWG members with the resources to support: a) external review of extramural grant proposals; and b) scientific editing of grant proposals that emerge in a collaborative fashion from AWG activities. \nIf you are interested in learning more about AWG please explore this site.
