Dagher, HSRP&A PhD (‘07), Receives APHA Award

Rada Dagher, HSRP&A PhD (‘07), has been selected to receive the American Public Health Association–Maternal and Child Health Section Young Professional Award for 2014. Dagher will receive the award on November 17th, 2014 at the APHA annual meeting in New Orleans.

rada_dagherThe award recognizes a young professional, up to and including 40 years of age, who has made a significant contribution to the field of maternal and child health.

This contribution can be through a specific, particularly creative endeavor or through outstanding achievement over a number of years in the areas of public health practice, management, advocacy, clinical care, community service, education, or research. The awardee’s potential for making a sustained and meaningful impact on the field and for future service to the section is also important.
