Structural Racism in Public Health

Stefani Aleman | March 7, 2016

Dr. Katy Kozhimannil and MPH/PHAP student Katy Murphy presented research at the Health Equity Work Group Spring General Meeting on structural racism in public health.  Specifically, they were looking at the extent to which structural racism is being examined in the field.  They found that while addressing structural racism is a critical factor in reducing health disparities, it has not been comprehensively examined in the public health literature.  Check out their presentation for more information on the research.
