Biostatistics

This is a great opportunity to meet with current students who are eager to share their perspective with you. Sit down with faculty who will discuss their research, answer your questions, and give you a taste of what you will experience as a student in biostatistics. Your program coordinator will be available to help you with next steps and give you answers to any additional questions you might have.

Division of Epidemiology and Community Health

You will have the opportunity to meet with your Program Coordinators and receive a brief overview of the Division.  Meet with the Program Director of your major to talk about the specifics of the program requirements, hear faculty discuss various areas of research specific to each major, and engage with current students who will share their perspectives and experiences. This is a great opportunity to meet some of your fellow prospective students, faculty, and current students in the program and get all your questions answered!

Environmental Health (MPH, MS)

Spend an afternoon with the Division of Environmental Health Sciences to learn more about degree planning, research, and other student opportunities. This session will be a mix of presentation and Q & A. We look forward to speaking with you!

Health Services Research Policy & Administration (MS)

MS students admitted to the Health Services Research, Policy & Administration program will learn more about how our graduates learn how to collect, manage, analyze, interpret, and communicate data to improve population health, and the careers where this training can be applied. You will have an opportunity to meet with the program’s Director of Graduate Studies, program coordinator, and current students.

Masters of Healthcare Administration (MHA)

Please contact Kristin Chalberg, MHA Program Coordinator, at chal0077@umn.edu if you are an admitted student interested in scheduling an appointment to learn more about the opportunities awaiting you in our Master of Healthcare Administration program.

Public Health Administration and Policy (MPH)

Future PHAP students will spend time learning what makes our program unique. The PHAP Director will lead the meeting, giving a topical lecture and engaging discussion. The Program Coordinator will expand on curricular options and student resources, and current PHAP students will share their work and answer questions. Lastly, a PHAP alum will talk about how this program has supported their career goals.
