Sean Buuck is a foodborne diseases epidemiologist at the Minnesota Department of Health, where he has worked since 2015. In his role at MDH, he helps conduct disease surveillance, leads outbreak investigations, and coordinates foodborne disease activities through MDH’s Pathogen Genomics Center of Excellence.

Jessica Nelson is Program Director and Epidemiologist with the Minnesota Biomonitoring program at the Minnesota Department of Health. She leads the new Healthy Kids Minnesota program that is measuring environmental chemicals in children across the state. Jessica received her PhD and MPH in Environmental Health from Boston University School of Public Health.
